ROOFS WITH 1, 2 OR 3 WATERS. WHICH ONE IS THE BEST?

The apparent roofs are the most common in the Brazilian market and are composed of a wooden structure covered with tiles.

Because it is visible, it is necessary to use good tiles as an element aesthetic. The eaves are projected out of the building and can be a visual appeal.

The drainage of rain made by the “waters” is another great advantage. That type of roof can be worked with different “waters”, depending on the construction size.

The “Waters” of the roof

A roof is divided into parts called water. They have the function to make the rainwater drain. The amount of water will depend the size of the house and other features. Check it out:

1 water roof

It is usually installed in small houses that are at the back of residences, called building blocks. It can also be used in models of embedded roofs.

Gable roof

This is the most used model, because the house needs to be more than 4 meters squares (which happens in most cases) and there is a need to drain the water from both sides.

These two waters are divided by a central line called ridge. There are basically two types of gable roof: the American and kangaroo.

Roof of 3 or more waters

These 3 or more water models are recommended for larger homes or who have a different architectural design. From the top, a 4-story roof is usually shaped like a rectangle. It is one of the most beautiful roofing models.

And what is the best model?

This will depend on some factors, such as the size of the building. If it is small, water is usually made, precisely because of the gap and to allow access to the forum and place a water tank, for example.

In the case of larger buildings, it is necessary to raise the environment and drop to the ends. In this way, two or more waters can be used, depending on the architectural project and the expected aesthetic result.
