REFURBISHMENT OF WATER TANKS, RESERVOIRS AND CISTERNS

When renovating or cleaning water tanks or cisterns, it is very important to use the correct product. This guarantees an efficient waterproofing and also the physical integrity of workers and future users.

The use of toxic and flammable products when waterproofing the water tank can cause serious health problems for the applicators who will work in the area, especially when we remember that most water tanks (buried and elevated) are confined places.

With a quick survey, we found several reports of workers who had to be rescued from within these areas for having had a sudden illness during the application of the products.

So that this problem does not occur, we must always use non-toxic products.

DRYKO, aware of this issue, has the DRYKOTEC line.

DRYKOTEC 1100 is ideal for application in buried water tanks and cisterns. Nontoxic, based on cement and water soluble acrylic resin, the product is perfect for waterproofing in confined areas.

The application is done in a simple way, with a brush in 3 or 4 coats in a crosswise direction, respecting the curing time between each coat. Average consumption is 1 kg / m2 / coat.

DRYKOTEC 5500 is a non-toxic coating based on cement and thermoplastic polymers, which is used in conjunction with DRYKOTEC 1100, which makes water tanks and elevated reservoirs watertight, as it is flexible and follows the movements of the structure.

DRYKOTEC 7700 is a coating based on cement and thermoplastic polymers plus fibers. Nontoxic, and when used in conjunction with the DRYKOTEC 1010, it makes the water tanks and elevated reservoirs watertight, since it is flexible and accompanies the movements of the structure.
