Single-component, cement-free membrane based on acrylic copolymers, ready to use with high flexibility, excellent adhesion, and quick drying for waterproofing, with rapid area release.

The substrate for the application of DRYKOCRIL PRO must be clean and free of foreign bodies, formwork residues, rebar tips, release agents, impregnated products, defects, and voids. For smooth concrete surfaces, perform sanding with a wire brush or mechanically to open porosity and remove release agents or curing compounds.

If necessary, ensure leveling with a minimum slope of 1% for external areas and 0.5% for internal areas, towards water drainage points. Prepare with a mortar mix of cement and medium sand in a 1:4 ratio, adding DRYKOFIX CHAPISCO adhesive emulsion to the mixing water for better adhesion to the substrate. The mortar should have a smooth finish, with a minimum thickness of 2 cm.

Emerging pipes and drains should be rigidly fixed with DRYKOPOXI. Drains should have a minimum diameter of 75 mm (3 inches).

Around drains and emerging pipes (e.g., toilet bowls), use DRYKO SELANTE PU as reinforcement between concrete and PVC.
Cold joints and concrete seams can be treated with DRYKOPOXI or as recommended by the structural engineer in charge.

To improve adhesion on very absorbent or porous substrates, before applying DRYKOCRIL PRO, we recommend using a first coat diluted by 30%.

Before application, all cracks should be repaired using the product itself reinforced with DRYKOTELA polyester mesh (for cracks up to 3.0 mm). The mesh should be applied between the first and second coats of DRYKOCRIL PRO.

The product is ready to use and should be applied in at least two coats. If necessary, a third coat can be added.

Floors

Apply DRYKOCRIL PRO first to the corners of the wall and drains using a brush. Then, continue the application on the rest of the area with a lambswool roller, ensuring that skirting boards and drains always have a reinforced layer.

Drywall Walls

At the junctions between drywall or masonry block walls and the subfloor, it is recommended to use DRYKOTELA as reinforcement for waterproofing. Apply the reinforcement mesh over the first fresh layer of DRYKOCRIL PRO.

Wait for 2 hours or until the product dries before starting the second coat. Apply the second coat of reinforcement to the corners and skirting boards with a lambswool roller, and then apply the general second coat of DRYKOCRIL PRO. Avoid drips and respect the consumption per coat.

Wait for 8 hours before starting the installation of the covering.

Repairs

In case of necessary fixations that puncture the applied membrane, we recommend sealing screws or fasteners with DRYKOPOXI. The reconstitution or localized repairs of the membrane should be done with the product itself – DRYKOCRIL PRO.

Leak Test

Wait for the product to cure for at least 72 hours after applying the last coat before performing the leak test for 72 hours. After this period, drain the test water.

Recommendations

  • Follow the scope, details, and finishes as per the project.
  • We recommend that our products be applied by trained professionals specialized in waterproofing activities.
  • It is not recommended for the waterproofing of pools and reservoirs.
  • DRYKOCRIL PRO has low UV resistance.
  • DRYKOCRIL PRO can be used as a groove sealant, applied internally to the detail of grooves and movement joints, usually executed at the junction of the beam bottoms with the tops of masonry walls.

Valid for 12 months from the date of manufacture if storage guidelines are followed.

Store in a covered, dry, and ventilated area, away from heat sources, in environments with temperatures not exceeding 30°C, and in an upright position.

  • Handle with care. Use gloves and PPE according to current standards.

  • Dispose of the contents/container at an approved waste treatment and disposal facility. Do not reuse the packaging.
