Industrialized waterproofing asphalt blanket made from modified asphalts with elastomeric polymers, reinforced with high density polyethylene film, flexible and tensile strength.
Indicated for:
- Small slabs (up to 50 m²);
- Terraces, balconies and balconies;
- Cold areas: Bathrooms, kitchens, terraces;
- Retaining wall and concrete curtains (soil side);
- Baldrames and running shoes.
The substrate for application of VEDAMANTA must be clean, free of foreign bodies, form remains, iron tips, remnants of mold release or impregnating products, flaws and nests. In smooth concrete, sand with a steel brush or mechanically to open porosity and remove release agents or curing agent.
Carry out regularization with a minimum drop of 1% towards the water drainage points for external areas and 0.5% for internal areas, prepared with cement mortar and medium sand 1: 4 trace, adding DRYKOFIX adhesive emulsion in the water of kneading for greater adherence to the substrate. The mortar must be finished with a minimum thickness of 2 cm.
Round sharp corners and edges. It is worth mentioning that lime should not be placed in the leveling mortar.
Emerging pipes and drains must be rigidly fixed. A 1 cm deep drawdown around the drains with a diameter of 50 cm is recommended. In the building entrance gaps (doors, frames, etc.), the leveling should advance at least 60 cm inwards, under jambs and underframe, respecting the trim for the external areas, except for internal areas with floors in wood or degradable by moisture. It is recommended that the external areas have a dimension of at least 6 cm less than the internal dimensions, both at the level of waterproofing and at the level of the finished floor. Cold joints and concrete joints can be treated with DRYKOPOXI or as recommended by the engineer responsible for the structure.
Primer application
Apply one coat of DRYKOPRIMER ACQUA or DRYKOPRIMER ECO and wait for drying for at least 6 hours before bonding the blankets and treating the drains and tubes.
Blanket application
Fully unroll the first blanket in the center of the area, leaving it aligned and then roll it up again. Secure the blanket using the chosen application system.
Torch application
With the aid of the torch, direct the flame on the side of the SEAL that will be set to the substrate, make sure that the flame heats the printed substrate and the VEDAMANTA simultaneously.
Application with hot asphalt
Heat the ASFEL or ASFOX to 180 to 220 ° C and 160 to 180 ° C respectively, with the aid of a certified heater. Apply with the help of jute yarn (skein) in the form of a spreader a uniform layer, on the side of VEDAMANTA and on the printed substrate. Apply layers to the coil at most 1 meter away from the substrate. Press from the center to the ends to remove excess and possible air bubbles. The floor covering should rise 10 cm at the bottom and the floor covering should overlap the floor covering by 10 cm. In emergent drains and pipes, reinforcement should be performed with a blanket strip.
Valid for 60 months from the date of manufacture as long as the storage standards are respected.
Store in a covered, dry, ventilated place and away from heat sources, in environments with temperatures not exceeding 30 ° C and in an upright position.

- Avoid that the product is close to heat, flame or spark, avoid smoking.
- We recommend observing the safety rules established by Organs competent bodies and the use of suitable PPE such as gloves and safety glasses.
- The product should not be ingested or come into contact with the skin or eyes.
- In case of accidental ingestion, do not force vomit. In contact with eyes, rinse well with water for an average of 10 to 15 minutes. In contact with the skin, wash well with soap and water and use moisturizer.
