DRYKOTEC 1100
18 Kg
Two-component polymeric mortar, cement-based, aggregated with acrylic polymers, characterized by a waterproofing coating. It has the characteristic of resisting negative and positive pressure, having durability and resistance in addition to being odorless and non-toxic.
Suitable for: areas subject to low structural movements such as swimming pools, reservoirs, balconies, kitchens, service areas, bathrooms, water mirrors, elevator shafts, etc.
Perform regularization with a minimum drop of 1% towards the water drainage points, prepared with cement mortar and medium sand 1: 4 trace, adding adhesive emulsion DRYKOFIX CHAPISCO in the mixing water for greater adhesion on the substrate. It is worth mentioning that no type of water repellent should be placed in the regularization mortar. The mortar must be finished with a minimum thickness of 2 cm.
The surface must be moistened with water before applying the product. In the event of percolation or spurts of water from the water table, buffering must be carried out before applying DRYKOTEC 1100.
Before applying DRYKOTEC 1100 in swimming pools or in buried concrete tanks, perform a water load test for at least 72 hours to accommodate the structure, checking for possible cracks and cracks that may occur at full load.
Mix components A and B for 5 minutes, until a homogeneous paste is formed. Mix the product manually every 15 minutes.
Apply with a soft broom or brush. Moisten the surface well and apply 3 to 4 coats of the mixture in crossed directions, allowing to dry at least 4 hours before the next coat.
In critical areas, such as reservoir bottoms and cold joints, drains and pipes, a 2 × 2 mm mesh polyester industrial screen must be incorporated after the first coat. When applied to an area exposed to the sun, it must be hydrated for 3 consecutive days.
In tanks, reservoirs and any other areas that will be in permanent contact with water, the surface of the product must be cleaned, washing with water and neutral soap and rinsing with plenty to remove all soap.
There should be no product accumulated in the corners / corners of the waterproofed area, this excess can cause cracks. The application must be transferred to eliminate the excess. We recommend the use of mechanical protection mortar on the floor for application in water tanks, due to the cleaning services that will be performed in the future.
For laying the final coating, we recommend AC-III glue cement. DRYKOTEC 1100 cannot be used in places with a pH less than 6. Wait 96 hours after applying the last coat before doing the tightness test. If there is a need for mechanical protection, spread sieved and dry sand before drying the last coat of DRYKOTEC 1100. In horizontal and vertical areas, use cement mixture: sand 1: 3 with DRYKOFIX CHAPISCO in the amount of 0.30 l / m².
