DRYKOPRIMER ACQUA PRO

Water-based primer paint composed of asphalt that ensures coverage with a single coat for the asphalt waterproofing system.

The substrate for the application of DRYKOPRIMER ACQUA PRO must be clean and free of foreign bodies, formwork residues, rebar tips, release agents, impregnated products, defects, and voids. For smooth concrete surfaces, perform sanding with a wire brush or mechanically to open porosity and remove release agents or curing compounds.
Ensure leveling with a minimum slope of 1% towards water drainage points for external areas and 0.5% for internal areas. Prepare with a mortar mix of cement and medium sand in a 1:4 ratio, adding DRYKOFIX CHAPISCO adhesive emulsion to the mixing water for better adhesion to the substrate. The mortar should have a smooth finish, with a minimum thickness of 2 cm.
Emerging pipes and drains should be rigidly fixed with DRYKOPOXI. Drains should have a minimum diameter of 75 mm (3 inches), and it is recommended to lower the mortar around the drains by 1 cm to reinforce the waterproofing layer.
Round off sharp corners and edges. Cracks and fissures should be treated with DRYKO SELANTE PU before application.
At the entrances of buildings (doors, frames, etc.), the leveling should extend at least 60 cm into the interior, underneath thresholds and counterframes, respecting the slope towards external areas, except for internal areas with wooden or moisture-degradable floors, which should receive specific detailing in the project.
It is recommended that external areas have lower elevations than internal areas; check details in the waterproofing project. Cold joints and concrete seams can be treated with DRYKOPOXI or as recommended by the project.
Observations
The mortar used for leveling should not contain lime or waterproofing additives. If necessary, use DRYKAL.
Allow the mortar to cure for at least 7 days.
While still in the original packaging, mix the product for approximately 2 minutes before starting the application.
Use a paint roller, brush, or paintbrush for application.
Primer Application
With the substrate dry, apply a single coat of pure DRYKOPRIMER ACQUA PRO and wait for 6 to 8 hours to dry before applying the waterproofing or asphalt sealing system.
Waterproofing Paint
With the substrate dry, apply the first coat of DRYKOPRIMER ACQUA PRO and wait for 6 to 8 hours to dry before applying the subsequent coats until the recommended or desired coverage is achieved.
Recommendations
- Do not apply the product in rainy weather or on a wet substrate.
- Apply the product at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C, with a relative humidity below 85%.
- We recommend that our products be applied by trained professionals specialized in waterproofing activities.
Valid for 24 months from the date of manufacture if storage guidelines are followed.
Store in a covered, dry, and ventilated area, away from heat sources, in environments with temperatures not exceeding 30°C, and in an upright position.
We recommend observing the safety standards established by competent authorities and using appropriate PPE to ensure the safety of employees.
Handle with care. In enclosed spaces, create forced ventilation if necessary.

Dispose of the contents/container at an approved waste treatment and disposal facility. Do not reuse the packaging.
